The goal of Esperanza Apartments is to provide safe and decent affordable housing for seniors within an urban neighborhood. Esperanza was MHDC's first major new construction project, completed in 1976. The development features a landscaped garden terrace and a community room. The garden courtyard provides its senior residents a quiet, secure space to warm in the sun or enjoy lunch with their neighbors.
