Mariposa Gardens

MHDC built Mariposa Gardens to provide a pleasant residential community in a light-industrial area of the Mission District. Through thoughtful planning, design, and management, the complex features a gardening area for residents and a courtyard landscaped with the assistance of the San Francisco Conservation Corps. Interior courtyards such as this reappear in so many Mission Housing developments because they are an excellent way to provide space for children to play and parents to relax removed from the busy streets typical in this neighborhood.
